Before we get started please note this is NOT the LSWA (Louisiana Sportswriters Association) all state team but solely Louisiana Girls Rankings thoughts. Again with our platform we are only trying to help keep the conversation going about OUR girls so this is just another way of doing that. Each day for the next ten days we will release an all state team for one of the divisions. The Division II Non Select was a collision course of Wossman and Albany as they both proved to be one of the top teams in the state regardless of classification. Again this classification is another deep class as we'll see several of these young ladies playing college basketball in the near future!
The all state selections for Division II Non Select classification is listed below:
Division II Non Select
MVP - Anyra Wilson - Wossman - Sophomore
Anyra Wilson may not be the leading scorer or considered the "best player" even on her team by most but when you really focus on this roster she is clearly the engine for the Wossman Lady Wildcats. She can score the basketball or create off the bounce creating scoring opportunities for her teammates. Anyra's game has continued to improve and because of that and her leadership you've seen Wossman continue to improve and they will make a case next year for the best team in the state regardless of classification behind Wilson and company!

Coach of the Year: Rob Otis / Wossman
- Wossman finished the year on a twenty two game winning streak as Coach Rob lead the Wossman Lady Wildcats to back to back state championships! I want to personally tip my hat to Coach Rob and what he's built over at Wossman as last year they knocked down the state championship door which was an impressive feat in itself but the way he challenged his program and his team this year with the schedule was certainly fun to watch. This group literally played anyone, anywhere at anytime all season long and it turned out to be the best thing for them as they fought through adversity and the team continued to grow throughout the season. It's one thing to win a state championship but to keep a team grounded and hungry to go back to back is a whole other challenge. Congratulations to Coach Rob and the Wossman Lady Wildcats on winning a second title in a row so I guess the next question is.... Three peat?
